An excellent way to start your day with a very tasty and nutritious breakfast that is not only quite easy to cook, but also provides an excellent source of cholesterol lowering fiber.

 3 cups Water
 ¼ cup Raisins (can use cranberries, peeled and cored apples or other dried fruit)
 ¼ cup walnut pieces or other nuts at time of serving

Put all ingredients into pot, add water and cook approx. 30 minutes until oatmeal thickens to gravy consistency. Serve with a dash of brown sugar and milk. Sprinkle with flaxseeds or milled flax. Should take approx. 25 – 30 minutes.
