Oat Bran & Flax Meal Muffins

These muffins are the perfect take-along snack or start to your day. Made with wholesome ingredients like oat bran, whole wheat flour, flax, and applesauce, these muffins bake-up golden with a subtle sweetness of nutritious raisins. They are high in fiber and deliver 6g of protein per muffin.

 ¾ cup Brown sugar
 1 ½ cups Whole wheat flour
 1 tsp Baking powder
 1 tsp Baking soda
 2 Eggs
 1 cup Applesauce
 ½ cup Water
 1 cup Raisins

Preheat oven to 350° F/175° C.

In the large bowl, mix together flour, flax meal, oat bran, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder.

In the small bowl, combine the water, eggs, vanilla, and applesauce. Add to the dry ingredients and stir until just blended.

Fill prepared muffin tins ⅔ full with batter.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
