Three Lentil Turkey Patties

(Use organic ingredients whenever possible).

These patties are fantastic, fun, and fuss-free.  Made with a blend of Three Lentil Mix, whole grain oats, ground poultry, and aromatic rosemary, this recipe delivers lean protein with a source of fiber, B-vitamins, and iron. Kid-friendly and family approved, enjoy these patties with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables for a new take on turkey dinner.

 

1 1/2 lb. fresh ground turkey or chicken

1/3 cup Willow Creek Organic Three Lentil Mix  

1 egg

1 tsp. ground rosemary

1 tsp. sea salt

fresh cracked Willow Creek Organic Pepper

1 small onion, chopped

1/2 cup carrot, grated

1/4 cup yellow bell pepper, diced

1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced

1/4 cup celery, diced

1/4 cup Willow Creek Organic Quick Rolled Oats  

 

*Cooking times can vary based on the batch size. 

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients thoroughly.

Shape 1/2 cup amounts of mixture into patties.  

Cook in a lightly greased, preheated fry pan for five minutes each side.

Serve with cranberry sauce.
