Three Lentil Chicken and Oat Patties

These patties are fantastic, fun, and fuss-free.  Made with a blend of Three Lentil Mix, whole grain oats, ground poultry, and savory spices, this recipe delivers lean protein with a source of fiber, B-vitamins, and iron. Kid-friendly and family approved, enjoy these patties with roasted vegetables for a quick and nutritious meal.

 

1 large egg white

1/4 cup milk

1/2 cup Willow Creek Organic Three Lentil Mix  

2 lbs. ground chicken or turkey

1/2 cup Willow Creek Organic Quick Rolled Oats

1/2 cup onion, minced

1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard

1/2 tsp. oregano flakes

2 – 3 cloves diced garlic

1 tsp. sea salt

2 Tbsp. olive, sunflower, grapeseed, or other cooking oil

 

*Cooking times can vary based on the batch size. 

 

In a bowl, lightly beat egg white, add milk and Three Lentil Mix.  

Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Shape into patties. 

Preheat oil in frypan to medium high.  

Cook patties until browned and fully cooked.
