This sure-to-please spread made with large green lentils is very high in fiber and a source of heart-healthy fats and protein. Spread over your sandwich bread for a zingy flavour boost, or use as a dip for vegetables or our Three Lentil Crackers.

 

1 1/2 cup Willow Creek Organic Large Green Lentils

1/4 cup plain yogurt

1 1/2 tsp. dijon mustard

3/4 tsp. salt

2 tsp capers

2 Tbsp. onion, minced

1 Tbsp. Willow Creek Organic Flax Oil

1 tsp. fresh lemon juice

1 1/2 tsp. lemon zest

2 tsp. Willow Creek Organic Milled Golden Flax  

 

*Cooking times can vary based on the batch size. 

 

Precook lentils before starting recipe.

Place all ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth.

Chill for two hours.
